For a project with our well-known, international customer AIRBUS in Donauwörth, we are looking for you as an Engineer for Test Means Operation and Maintenance.

TASK

• Responsibility for the availability of test systems
• Monitoring availability and performance
• Proactive resolution of identified errors
• Investigation of root causes and coordination of test system support for software testing activities in the area of ??avionics development
• Collecting requirements, specifying functional requirements
• Validation of the tool suite in its operational environment
• Development of smaller tools for support activities in the area of ??maintenance Management of diagnosis and resolution of problems in the area of ??test systems for avionics Installation of new tool suites
• Proactive monitoring of the test systems used (hardware and software) and ensuring that the measures are carried out
• Cooperation with the IT department to ensure correct IT support
• Responsibility for the continuous improvement of test systems and processes to enable end users to improve their efficiency (test automation)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in engineering or aerospace
• Professional experience in aerospace and engineering
• Experience in project management and coordination of smaller projects
• Experience in support is an advantage
• IT knowledge: MS Office, confident use of Windows and UNIX/Linux
• Knowledge of programming languages, including Python and C, C++ is an advantage
• Language skills: English at least business fluent, German an advantage, French an advantage
