We are looking for you as a Commodity Manager for Detail Parts for a project assignment with our well-known, international customer AIRBUS in Immenstaad on Lake Constance.

TASKS

• Carrying out procurement activities, tenders and supplier selection (supplier evaluation) and conducting contract negotiations for mechanical products, including the preparation of selection reports and the associated contracts
• Contract monitoring together with suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure that the expected performance is delivered in all areas (logistics, support, quality, costs, etc.)
• Ensuring the raw material strategy and working closely with suppliers
• When developing new development projects as well as when changing existing projects, you work with the engineering department in advance. You bring your knowledge/view of strategy, market and goods to provide innovative, cost-effective and safe solutions and ensure early involvement in the development of new programs/offers
• Participating in the definition and development of the procurement strategy (analyzing procurement markets, potential suppliers, cost drivers...) in close cooperation with stakeholders and the MFT (Multi-Functional Team) with a focus on space systems
• Identifying savings projects in all areas and implementing them

QUALIFICATIONS

• Studies in industrial engineering (at least a bachelor's degree) or business administration (at least a bachelor's degree) or economics (at least a bachelor's degree)
• Professional experience in purchasing
• Experience in negotiations with suppliers and in the area of ??supplier management/supplier selection is necessary
• IT: Confident use of ERP systems is required
• Language skills: At least fluent in English, knowledge of German is an advantage
