We are looking for you as a project and configuration manager for a project at our well-known, international customer AIRBUS in Donauwörth.

TASK

The tasks include managing and updating the latest training media and ensuring their operation in the training academy. The area includes web-based media, iOS applications and hardware (helicopter mock-ups).

The area of responsibility is divided in detail as follows:

• Participation in change board meetings (technical changes to the helicopters)
• Analysis and evaluation of the influence of the configuration changes on the training media for pilot and technician training (e.g. flight simulator, helicopter for maintenance training, interactive media
• Close cooperation with experts, trainers and media developers
• Configuration management of the media
• Initiation and supervision of the necessary modifications (project management)
• Additionally: responsibility for the maintenance hangar (four helicopters and the associated workshops and the corresponding tools)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Study of engineering (at least Bachelor's degree) or aerospace (at least Bachelor's degree)
• Completed at least three years of vocational training as an aircraft mechanic with additional qualified further training such as master craftsman or technician and related extended specialist additional qualification (preferably in the area of configuration management)
• Professional experience in engineering at least 3 years, in IT / information systems at least 3 years, in aerospace at least 3 years
• Knowledge of configuration management is mandatory
• Experience in project management is a must
• Basic knowledge of helicopter technology is required
• Language skills: English at least fluent, knowledge of German is an advantage
• Vocational training
