AUFGABEN

Der Bereich Airborne Radar System Definition & Support ist zum einen verantwortlich für die systemtechnische Betreuung existierender, bordgestützter Radarsysteme für fliegende Plattformen wie z.B. Eurofighter Typhoon, Panavia Tornado, NFH Sea Lion. Des Weiteren führt der Bereich das Systems-Engineering bei der Planung und Konzeption zukünftiger bordgestützter Radar-Systeme durch, unterstützt fachlich die Akquisition neuer Entwicklungsprojekte und leitet die technische Durchführung derselben.

Die Aufgabenstellungen der Systemabteilung sind geprägt durch interdisziplinäre Ansätze, engen Kontakt zu den nationalen und internationalen Kunden und Anwendern sowie wissenschaftlichen Forschungseinrichtungen und Kooperationspartnern.
Sie sind für die folgenden Aufgaben zuständig:

• Durchführung von System-Requirements-Analysen (z. B. in DOORS) und Ableitung des resultierenden Sub-System-Designs unter Zuhilfenahme modellbasierter Ansätze (z.B. SysML)
• Interdisziplinäre Abstimmung der Sub-System Konzepte und der Architektur mit relevanten Stakeholdern (Fachentwicklung, Safety-Team, Kunden) und deren Umsetzung im Modell
• Systemtechnische Begleitung der Implementierungsarbeit durch entsprechende Hardware-, Software- und Firmware-Gruppen
• Definition des funktionalen Umfangs der Software- und Firmware Inkremente
• Definition und Durchführung von Validierungs- und Verifikations Aktivitäten sowie Mitarbeit bei Integrationsaufgaben
• Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung eines Built-In-Test Konzepts auf Sub System-Ebene

QUALIFIKATIONEN

• Studium der Mathematik mind. Bachelor-Studiengang oder der Physik mind. Bachelor-Studiengang oder vergleichbarer Qualifikation mind. Bachelor-Studiengang oder der Elektrotechnik mind. Bachelor-Studiengang
• Mehrjährige Erfahrungen im Anforderungs-Engineering und Systems-Engineering erforderlich
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung mit dem modellbasierten Entwicklungs-Tool Rhapsody erforderlich
• Kenntnisse in Radar System-Design wünchenswert
• IT: MS-Office mind. detaill. Spezialkenntnisse, Mehrjährige Erfahrung mit dem Requirements Management Tool DOORS erforderlich
• Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch mind. verhandlungssicher, Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher

TASKS

The Airborne Radar System Definition & Support department is responsible for the system technical support of existing, on-board radar systems for flying platforms such as the Eurofighter Typhoon, Panavia Tornado, NFH Sea Lion. The department also carries out systems engineering in the planning and design of future on-board radar systems, provides technical support for the acquisition of new development projects and manages the technical implementation of these.

The tasks of the systems department are characterized by interdisciplinary approaches, close contact with national and international customers and users as well as scientific research institutions and cooperation partners.
You are responsible for the following tasks:

• Carrying out system requirements analyses (e.g. in DOORS) and deriving the resulting sub-system design using model-based approaches (e.g. SysML)
• Interdisciplinary coordination of the sub-system concepts and architecture with relevant stakeholders (technical development, safety team, customers) and their implementation in the model
• System-technical support of the implementation work by appropriate hardware, software and firmware groups
• Definition of the functional scope of the software and firmware increments
• Definition and implementation of validation and verification activities as well as collaboration on integration tasks
• Collaboration in the creation of a built-in test concept at sub-system level

QUALIFICATIONS

• Study of mathematics (at least a bachelor's degree) or physics (at least a bachelor's degree) or comparable qualification (at least a bachelor's degree) or electrical engineering (at least a bachelor's degree)
• Several years of experience in requirements engineering and systems engineering required
• Several years of experience with the model-based development tool Rhapsody required
• Knowledge of radar system design desirable
• IT: MS Office (at least detailed specialist knowledge), several years of experience with the requirements management tool DOORS required
• Language skills: German (at least business fluent), English (at least business fluent)
